All necklaces are made out of materials, which are not meant to be for jewellery making. I usually try to avoid using jewellery supplies and try to find other solution and parts which are entirely out of their context.
I started making jewellery during my studies. I am a designer, and whenever I had leftovers from my model building, I took them to create some new necklaces for myself. I also had to go to ironmonger to get material for my uni project, and I just couldn't restrain not work on my jewellery with such beautiful parts they sell there.
